Project Manager Purchasing – GEA Food Solutions Bakel – NL
This is not your typical purchasing position! This position is more focused on implementing changes by analyzing processes and data.
In this position your main task is to support the purchasing department by initiating and carrying out specific projects in order to optimize processes and implement changes, that will guide the department into more structure to enable them to successfully fulfill their KPI’s.
You will work alongside the local Purchasing Managers and you report directly to the Head of Supply Chain Management of this Business Area (located in Germany).
You work within the 3 sites in The Netherlands but have your home-base at the location in Bakel where you will spend 80% of your time (largest team).
Therefore we are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with the right soft skills and the specific tool-kit to implement changes based upon solid analysis.
• Main tasks;
-Further development of the purchasing teams, i.e. supporting the conception of further development of our supplier structure, elaborate solution designs.
-Initiating, executing, implementation of saving projects.
-Creating transparency of processes, incl. in- and output as well as quality gates and reports
-Reporting of significant KPI’s and information related to the supply market
-Support the personal development of the Strategic Purchasers in the teams.
-Organization and leading of cross-functional workshops with respect to the optimization of product costs (i.e. value analysis), material group and supplier management, global sourcing, competence management, process optimization, etc. > lees meer…
